How to get started — A guide for parents

Step 1 — Download the app

Download LunchBox School Lunches from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

​

Step 2 — Create your account

Open the app and select Create Account.

Enter your details, including your email address and a password. If you've already registered, simply sign in.

​

Step 3 — Add your children

Go to the children section and add your child's details, including:

• First and last name

• School

• Year level and class

If you have more than one child, you can add them all to the same account.

Please check that each child's school and class details are correct, so their lunch can be prepared and delivered to the right place.

Step 4 — Choose a lunch date

Select the day you would like to order lunch for.

You can order up to 5 days in advance, making it easy to organise lunches ahead of time.

Available ordering days depend on your child's school and class.

Step 5 — Select your child's lunch

Browse the menu, select your child's food and drinks, and choose any available options or extras.

Add the items to your cart and check that the correct child and lunch date have been selected.

Step 6 — Checkout

Review your order. Add another child's order here and follow the checkout instructions to confirm it.

Once submitted successfully, your order will be available to view in the app.

Step 7 — Reorder or manage your lunches

Need the same lunch again? Use the previous-order feature to quickly reorder a favourite.

If plans change, you can also view and cancel eligible orders directly through the app.

Important ordering times

Order cutoff: 8:30am

All orders must be placed by 8:30am on the day of lunch.

 

Cancellation and refund cutoff: 7:30am

You can cancel an order and receive a refund through the app up until 7:30am on the day of lunch.

 

No late lunch orders can be accepted after 8:30am.

We recommend ordering the night before, or taking advantage of the 5-day advance ordering feature.

Important change from Monday 26 October

Our existing school lunch website ordering service is being replaced by the LunchBox School Lunches app.

To avoid missing a lunch order, please download the app, create your account and add your children before Monday 26 October.
