LunchBox School Lunches is operated by Arnold Family Group Pty Ltd, trading as Espresso Cafe (“Espresso Cafe”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used and protected when you use the LunchBox School Lunches mobile application (“LunchBox” or “the App”).

When you use LunchBox, we may collect information necessary to create and manage your account and provide the school lunch ordering service.

Your name, email address and account/user identifier.

 

Student information
Information you enter about children or students for whom lunches are being ordered, such as their name, school and class.

 

Order information

Details of school lunch orders, including selected menu items, customisations, order dates, order amounts, order status, cancellations, refunds and previous order history.

 

Other information you provide
Information you voluntarily provide when using the App or contacting us for assistance.

How We Use Your Information

We use this information to:

• create and manage your LunchBox account;

• identify the student and school associated with an order;

• process and manage school lunch orders;

• display your current and previous orders;

• allow eligible orders to be cancelled or refunded;

• process payments;

• provide customer support;

• maintain the security and operation of the App; and

• provide the features and services available through LunchBox.

 

We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising and we do not sell your personal information.

We do not use the information collected through LunchBox to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.

 

Payments

LunchBox uses Stripe to securely process payments, including supported card and digital wallet payments.

Payment information required to process a transaction may be provided directly to Stripe. Espresso Cafe does not store your full credit or debit card number within the LunchBox App.

 

Stripe processes personal information in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.

 

Firebase and App Services

LunchBox uses services provided by Google Firebase, including authentication and cloud database services, to provide functions such as account sign-in and storage of information required to operate the LunchBox service.

Information stored through these services may include account identifiers, order information and other information necessary to provide the App's functionality.

 

Sharing of Information

We may provide information to service providers where this is necessary to operate LunchBox, process payments, provide authentication, store application data, maintain security or provide other technical services.

 

These providers are permitted to process information only as necessary to provide their services and are expected to protect personal information appropriately.

 

We may also disclose information where required by law.

 

Children's and Student Information

LunchBox is intended to be used by parents, guardians and authorised school staff to place school lunch orders.

Student information entered into LunchBox is used to identify the student, their school and class so that their lunch can be prepared and delivered correctly.

 

We do not use student information for advertising or marketing purposes.

 

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

We also use reputable third-party service providers to provide secure authentication, data storage and payment processing.

 

Data Retention

We retain account and order information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the LunchBox service, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

 

Information that is no longer required may be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
